Julie Sarfati M.S. CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Julie Sarfati, M.S. CCC-SLP, LLC is an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist specializing in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and pediatric hearing loss. With a lifelong passion for helping children find their voice, Julie blends expertise, compassion, and personal experience to create impactful therapy sessions.

Julie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University (Go Owls!) before pursuing her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology at Nova Southeastern University, graduating with honors. While earning her degree, Julie worked as an audiology assistant, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in hearing healthcare.

She completed her clinical fellowship at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, focusing on pediatric hearing impairments while managing a diverse caseload. Her dedication and skill led her to officially join the Cochlear Implant Team, where she worked alongside top professionals to help children and families navigate the world of hearing technology and spoken language development.

Julie’s commitment to speech therapy is deeply personal—at a young age Julie was diagnosed with a profound hearing loss in her right ear, giving her unique insight into the challenges her patients face. This firsthand experience ignited her passion for Auditory-Verbal Therapy, allowing her to empower children with hearing loss to develop strong listening and spoken language skills.

Outside of her professional life, Julie is a devoted wife and proud mom to two energetic boys. She loves exploring parks, libraries, and museums with her family, always seeking new adventures and learning experiences.

With a heart for advocacy and a mission to empower children through communication, Julie is committed to making a lasting impact—one voice at a time.
